Parkinson’s Care

Caring for a family with a Parkinson’s Disease can be difficult at times, especially as the disease progresses.
This occurs when the dopamine in the brain lessens. No one really knows what causes neurodegenerative disorder and its effect on the movement of muscle control. There is no such cure for PD; that is why the objective treatment is to manage the symptoms and allow the patient to enjoy life.

EHCS offers you HELP to maintain the quality of life for your loved one:

  • Nutrition and meal planning is necessary, it is vital that the patient eat foods that strengthen his bones and muscles.
  • The steadiness of the patient’s bones and muscles are starting to weaken; which causes him to trip or fall. As a solution, our professionals will give them personal supervision and home safety.
  • A person with PD also needs help on his daily activities like bathing, eating, dressing, and using the bathroom. Our caregivers are professionals which will help the patient to do what the patient needs, without compromising his privacy.
  • Driving can be difficult or restricted for a Parkinson’s patient. EHCS provides rides to appointments, therapy, and relaxing sceneries.

There can be no greater cure than showing them that you love and care for them. During hard times like this, do not give up on them. Love them like how they loved you when you were just little.
